Company Member Biographies
Ken Edwards, Principal Ken Edwards is a Principal in Hotel Management Online.com and he is the Managing Member for Tristar Hotel Group, one of the nations leading Hotel Development and Management Companies. Ken has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, ranging from limited service properties to resorts. Tristar Hotel Group has managed more than 30 hotels. He has expertise in all aspects of hotel development, acquisitions, ownership and management. Prior to forming Hotel Management Online.com and Tristar Hotel Group Ken spent many years with InterContinental Hotel Group, Carlson Hotels, Servico Hotels and Resorts (Lodgian Hotel). Ken is passionate about the Hotel industry. He received his degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Hospitality Management and continuing education in Food & Beverage from the Culinary Institute of America.
Drew Edwards, Principal Having worked in the hotel industry for over ten years, primarily in the front of the house, Drew has a strong background in guest service, Property Management Systems, and general operating procedures. As of late, Drew has served as a Project Manager for Tristar Hotel Group, playing an active role in property acquisition, development, and pre-opening. His computer skills and knowledge of the hospitality industry allow for a unique combination that facilitated the creation and implementation of Hotel Management Online.
Masuree Patel, National Sales Director Born and raised in Northern California, Masuree comes from a large family of six children. As her parents owned a number of properties, Masuree experienced first hand the details required to run a successful hotel operation. Throughout the years, she contributed to the growth of the family business by training new employees, creating new management procedures, facilitating payroll and implementing a successful sales strategy. Most recently, Masuree worked for Foster Farms where she specialized in Accounts Receivable. Having the inherent traits for hospitality, Masuree is excited to share her experience and the value of Hotel Management Online.
